If you're considering booking The Silver Ghosts, please
contact us with the details of the event you are planning, inlcluding location type of event, and the date and time. The London based vintage swing band is ideally suited as a wedding entertainment band and for functions planned to be in or around London, Hertfordshire, Surrey, Sussex, Kent, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Essex, in fact we are able to travel anywhere provided the travel costs are covered.
Packages
We have a range of packages to suit your event and budget,
For private events we can perform 1, 2 or 3 sets as a 5, 6 or 7 piece to suit, from...
1x40 min set from a quintet
(Double bass, banjo', trumpet, vocal, clarinet or drums)
to
3x40 min sets from the extended octet
(Double bass, banjo', ukulele, drums, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, vocal)
- We have a speaker for up to 200 people, mics, stands, mixer etc. All we need is a couple of power points.
- We would be suited and booted in smart/glamorous period style atire, and if there is space, likely do some swing dancing as part of the performance as well.
- We can also DJ suitably period swing recordings between our sets, if required. We can also arrange for a swing DJ to play for the entire event.

a number of services.
Swing Dance Class
We also offer an additional 'swing dance' class before our
performance from a professional swing dance teacher. Dance
learners 'rotate' partners during the class, so everyone is
introduced to many people very quickly. It's a great way to
break the ice at your party or event, or a really pleasant
and enjoyable way for your colleagues to meet, cooperate and
learn about each other. They'll love it!
Complete Swing Event & Other services
We can organize or help you organize a full on swing event
with any or all of these:
- Swing dance teacher for an icebreaker beginners dance
class.
- Vintage DJs - original 78s on period twin decks.
- Swing dancers.
- 'Pop up' Vintage hairstylist.
- Additional vintage musical acts, from one man and his ukulele to a barbershop quartet to a full military style brass band.

Fees
Cost is a major consideration, of course. Even though we
are a troupe of professional musicians and a first class swing
ensemble act, our rates are very competitive.

You will receive a rates card with a table of rates for your event so you may choose what is most suitable, from 5 piece performing 1x40min set to 8 piece performing 3x40min sets.
If you have already allocated a budget for the band that's
great, just let us know and we will let you know what we can
do for you.
